<p>PURPOSE:To attain an effective process by putting the length of following transmitted data information on current transmitted data information from a transmission side to a reception side as additional information. CONSTITUTION:In the case of transmitting packet data 5a, a packet exchange 4 sets the data length of next transmitted packet data 5b in a next data length area 6a in the packet data 5a so as to transmit on a physical line 3. A terminal 1 which receives the packet data 5a like this decides that the next transmitted packet data 5b is short packet data by a next data length identification part 7. Thus, a short packet receiving buffer 2b which is optmum for the short packet data can be prepared, so that the effective process can be executed.</p> |
