PURPOSE:To reduce a change of temperature in the surroundings of a temperature sensing part, by finely opening a valve body at its seating and gently closing the valve body, that is, by interposing an elastic member, having force balancing with tension of an operating spring urging the control valve body, between a control part and the valve body. CONSTITUTION:If a temperature sensing part 30 is moved backward in accordance with operation of a handle, a control valve body 22 is moved to the direction of closing a cold water valve (b) and opening a hot water valve (a) and instantaneously adapted to a water valve seat 20, however, this adaptation removes the load of an operating spring 24 to an elastic member 45 balanced with the operating spring 24, and the elastic member 45 performs damping oscillation, then the valve body 22 is separated from the valve seat 20 to finely open the water valve (b). Accordingly, a small amount of cold water flows into the surroundings of the temperature sensing part 30 together with hot water, then temperature in the surroundings of the temperature sensing part 30 gently changes to prevent rapid expansion of the temperature sensing part 30. |
