<p>A device for covering a cylindrical body (20), especially a reel of paper, with a belt (10) of a protective material, such as a stretchable film, from a feed apparatus (8), this device comprising a rotating platform (4) supporting rollers (11, 12) which serve to support the cylindrical body. The said support rollers are journalled in pulleys (13, 14) integral with the said platform, and mechanical means (16, 17) are provided so as to cause, on each rotation of the rotating platform, a rotation of at least one of the support rollers (12) according to a specific angle. <IMAGE></p> |
