PURPOSE:To improve a machining speed by providing a feeder sliding on a conductor so fitted as to be continuous to a machining bath and supplying a machining current from a machining power supply to the machining bath via the conductor. CONSTITUTION:When a machining bath 2 linearly shifts in a Y-axis direction, driven by a Y-axis motor 3, a jacket feeder 22 can be kept at a minimum distance and inductance and resistance can be made small, because a strip shape copper plate 20 of conductive type at the right side of the machining bath 2 and a feed brush 21 are always sliding in the Y-axis direction and the jacket feeder 22 does not shift. Machining voltage is applied from the strip shape copper plate 20 to a workpiece via the machining bath 2 and a workpiece mounting plate 4. The feed brush 21 and a support bed 32 are electrically iso lated from each other.
