<p>PURPOSE:To stably carry a transfer material without generating a jam caused by a transfer omission phenomenon, etc., by providing a transfer material guide member, a photosensitive body and an energizing member, etc. CONSTITUTION:In case of carrying and guiding a transfer material P whose stiffness is weak, the tip part of a third transfer paper guide member 15b is energized clockwise by a spring 21, and abuts on a photosensitive body 3 in a state that an approach angle of the transfer material P to the surface of the photosensitive body 3 of the transfer material P is raised most. Subsequently, after the tip part of the transfer material P is abutted on the surface of the photosensitive body 3, the tip part of the transfer material P is bent to a circular arc shape, pressed against a prescribed position of the surface of the photosensitive body 3 due to an increase of the flexural rigidity, and thereafter, goes into a transfer area. Next, by a corona discharge of a transfer electrode 9, a transfer having a high adhesion with the surface of the photosensitive body 3 is executed, and subsequently, the transfer material P is separated from the surface of the photosensitive body 3 by a separating electrode 10. Thereafter, the transfer material P is carried to a fixing device by a carrying device, fixed and forms a permanent image, and discharged to the outside of a machine. On the other hand, in case of carrying and guiding the transfer material P whose stiffness is strong, the member 15b is pressed against the surface of the photosensitive body 3 by a suitable pushing pressure by using a pin 20 as a fulcrum, and the transfer material P is discharged to the outside of the machine.</p> |
