PURPOSE:To observe an image as if it is stopping, by providing an optical member so that a prescribed position of a sample chamber coincides with an optical axis, and starting a light emission of a pulse, when its prescribed position goes into a prescribed moving area. CONSTITUTION:An objective lens 1 and a condenser lens 4 are provided by aligning their optical axes, and between them, a passing locus of a sample chamber 3 of a rotor 2 is set. Also, between the lens 1 and the rotor 2, a glass parallel plate 5 is provided, and can be turned by a revolving axis which is orthogonal to an optical axis of the lens 1, and also, in the direction vertical to the tangential direction of a rotation of the sample chamber 3. In this state, even when the rotor 2 is rotated, and the sample chamber 3 moves as (a), (b) and (c), by turning the parallel plate 5 to match it, light from a prescribed position P of the sample chamber 3 is always allowed to coincide with the optical axis of the lens 1. Also, when the prescribed position P goes into a prescribed moving area, a pulse is brought to a light emission from a light source 67, and the light emission is stopped before passing out of the moving area. Accordingly, an image of a sample on the rotating rotor can be observed as if it is still.
