PURPOSE:To prescribe a setting place and also equipment in an informed destination by transmitting an ID code corresponding to a telephone set by the off-hook of the telephone set. CONSTITUTION:When the telephone set 2 is made off-hook, a light emission diode 7a is made off if a hook switch 2c is made off-hook, so that a relay 7d is made ON and a relay contact 7e is closed to electrically connect a call circuit 2a to a main device 5. Since an invertor 7c becomes L level, the light emission diode is made ON and, as a result, a phototransistor 13b is made ON. Therefore/phototransistors 12b and 13b output L level in substance and phototransistors 14b and 15b output H level in substance. As a result, a CPU 16 outputs the ID code of the telephone set 2. Thus, a center (informed destination) can not only know the setting place of a CD, etc., but also know from what CD the information is transmitted.
