PURPOSE:To allow a CPU to transmit data to a peripheral device or to convert data received from the peripheral device instantaneously in accordance with a previously set conversion code by providing a code converter into a data bus connecting the peripheral device and the CPU. CONSTITUTION:Data are outputted from the CPU to the peripheral device successively through a CPU data bus 106, a data bus buffer 101, a code converter 111, an internal data bus 105, a data I/O part 102, and a peripheral device data bus 107. In this case, a conversion code corresponding to data inputted from the bus buffer 101 to the code converter 111 is controlled through a line 112 and outputted from a data R/W control part 103 to the internal bus 105. At the time of inputting data from the peripheral device to the CPU, the data are inputted to the CPU through respective units in the reverse order against the output. At that time, the data are converted also by the code converter 111 and outputted from the bus buffer 101 to the CPU data bus 106. |
