<p>PIVOT TONGUE HARVESTER WITH LATERAL TRANSPORT A crop harvesting machine having a pivoted drawbar forwardly extending harvesting apparatus is disclosed wherein the drawbar can be positioned in a transversely extending direction to permit a transportation of the harvester in a transverse direction when mounted on a mobile carrier. A support plate on which stops are provided to limit the operative range of pivotal movement of the drawbar is selectively movable to change the position of the stops relative to the frame of the harvester and permit the drawbar to be pivoted to a transversely extending position. By positioning the harvester upon a mobile carrier the harvester can be transported in a transverse direction without disconnecting the drawbar from the prime mover.</p> |
