PURPOSE:To compensate a rainfall loss, and at the same time, to economize a system by bracketing a rainfall link by using a characteristic that the up-link level fluctuation of one earth station at the time of a rainfall is larger than a down-link level fluctuation. CONSTITUTION:A local station and an opposite station are of the same constitution, and a dash mark is attached to the opposite station. Here, it is assumed that the local station continues to transmit at a transmission power, required for a dry weather time, and the opposite station, at the time of the rainfall, raises the transmission power until a reception level comes equal to that at the dry weather. A reception input level, detected by the demodulator 11' of the opposite station, is supplied to the main signal line of a multiplex circuit 7', and transmitted to the local station. Said signal is separated from a main signal by a demultiplex circuit 12, and supplied to a logical decision controller 8. The controller 8 compares the deviation of the local station side reception input level from that of the dry weather time, and the deviation of the opposite station side reception input level from that of the dry weather time. When it rains in the opposite station link, the controller 8 does not transmit a control signal to vary the transmission power, to a transmission power changer 5. When it rains in the local station link, the controller 8 raises the transmission power until the opposite station reception input level comes equal to that at the dry weather. |
