PURPOSE:To prepare the title gas which gives a flame having an excellent visual effect during combustion, by mixing a combustible gas composed of an aliph. hydrocarbon with a metal capable of causing a flame reaction. CONSTITUTION:A combustible gas (A) composed of an aliph. hydrocarbon is mixed with a metallic chelating agent capable of causing a flame reaction in the form of a soln. thereof in an org. solvent (e.g., acetylacetone).
