PURPOSE:To fairly collect copyright royalties by providing the frequency signal discriminating means discriminating the presence and absence of the frequency signal in inputting signals and the medium processing means reading the remaining frequencies stored in a frequency medium. CONSTITUTION:In the case of the frequency signal transferring a frequency information into an input signal 80 being not detected by a frequency signal discriminating means 81, a signal interrupting means does not work and the input signal is transmitted as it is to a recording (REC) means 86. In the frequency signal discriminating means 81, a recording (dubbing) is started as indicated with the instruction of a REC switch 84, in the case of 'three being remaining card frequencies' in the input signal, and simultaneously therewith the frequency transferred in order as one part of the input signal is substracted from the card remaining frequencies stores in the memory inside a frequency comparing means 83 and at the time when the card remaining frequency becomes the specified amt. or below, e.g., zero, muting is exerted by actuating a signal interrupting means 85 to stop the recording. The collection of fair copyright royalties is thus enabled. |
