PURPOSE:To produce a color filter having high precision and high economical value by printing a photosensitive resin contg. a dye material on the surface of a transparent substrate to form a pattern, exposing then the obtd. pattern after carrying out positioning with a mask having a desired pattern, executing development thereafter. CONSTITUTION:A desired pattern 2 is printed on the surface of a transparent substrate 1 with a photosensitive resin contg. a dye material. However, since fine pattern 4 is unobtainable by the printing method, it is obtained by exposing a printed photosensitive resin after carrying out registration with a mask 3 having a desired pattern, then developing thereafter. By this method, useless consumption of an expensive photosensitive resin is reduced, and a color filter having high precision and high economical value is obtained. |
