The channel comprises a casing-type channel rail (1) which forms at least one space (3) for electrical leads and installation equipment. A longitudinal part (6) of the channel rail (1) is releasably and exchangeable for a gas and/or fluid distribution rail (9), the external shape (9b) of which corresponds to the outer form (6b) of the removable channel part (6). The channel rail (1) has a rectangular cross-section, and its removable part (6) comprises an L-shaped section which forms the horizontal rail bottom and front wall lower part. The lower part of the channel rail (1) rear wall (1a) has a longitudinal engagement fillet or fillets (8) for engagement fingers (10) in the removable channel part (6) and distribution rail (9). The distribution rail (9) has three triangular, parallel inlet channels which by means of connecting holes can be connected to the front surface (9b) of the rail, and an outlet channel parallel to those for inlet, which by means of a connecting hole is connectable to the bottom surface of the distribution rail.
