PURPOSE:To simultaneously separate a transfer paper separating claw and its pressure releasing mechanism considerably from the peripheral surface of a photosensitive drum by providing the separating claw on a cleaning garage which supports a cleaning device and can be moved in parallel to the drum. CONSTITUTION:A cleaning garage 10 which supports a cleaning device 10 and can be moved in parallel to a photosensitive drum 41 is provided with a transfer paper separating claw 31. Since a separating device 30 is not directly supported by the cleaning device 10, they are attached and detached independently of each other and the separating device 30 is approximated to or separated from the peripheral surface of the photosensitive drum 41 together with cleaning means 11 and 13 only by the moving operation of the cleaning device. Thus, the cleaning device is obtained which is safely attached and detached without damaging the separating device and the peripheral surface of the drum.
