PURPOSE:To simply manufacture the title detector at low cost, by providing a pyroelectric substance to one surface of a conductive substrate permitting the transmission through a predetermined wavelength region and using the substrate as an electrode also used as a window material. CONSTITUTION:For example, Si is used as the material quality of a conductive substrate 21 and functions as a window material to permit infrared rays of 1-15mum to transmit therethrough. An org. film 22 is provided on the substrate 21 as a pyroelectric substance and an electrode 23 composed of Al is provided to the surface thereof. When infrared rays are incident through the window material 21, polarization is generated in a pyroelectric detector 22, and Si 21 is used as one electrode to detect the signal between Si 21 and the electrode 23. |
