PURPOSE:To reduce the applied voltage to an electrode and keep the electric insulation property at each section satisfactorily by forming a cylindrical electrode smaller than a combination electrode in diameter and locating many lead wire sections from the combination electrode at the outside of the cylindrical electrode. CONSTITUTION:One end opening section of a cylindrical glass bulb 3 is hermetically sealed via an indium ring 4 to a face panel 2 provided with a photoconductive target electrode 1 on its inner face. Cylindrical grid electrodes 15, 16 made of a conductive film are provided on the inner periphery of the bulb 3, and the electrode 15 is divided into four arrow-shaped pattern regions like a deflection type deflecting electrode as a combined focusing electrode and horizontal/vertical deflecting electrode. Lead wire sections 17 from these four regions respectively are guided to the outside terminal through the overlap section of the bulbs 3, 5 around the outside of a grid 12. As a result, the electric insulation property of each section is kept satisfactorily.
