PURPOSE:To improve the density of sintering and magnetic characteristics by adding halogenide FeF2 to an R-B-Fe system sintered magnet. CONSTITUTION:An R-B-Fe system alloy powder wherein the essential components are R (R is at least one sort among the rare earth elements which contain Y.), B and Fe or the same component mixed powder is further mixed with 0.003-2.0 wt.% halogenide FeF2 and is formed, sintered and heat treated. If the halogenide FeF2 is less than 0.003 %, the effect is little and if it is more than 2.0 wt. %, sometimes, anti-corrosion may be deteriorated. In this way, magnetic characteristics are improved by adding the halogenide FeF2. |
