摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a composite type magnetic head adequate for a high coercive force recording medium by using ferrite having a coefft. of thermal expansion equivalent to 125-145X10<-7>/ deg.C coefft. of thermal expansion of a thin magnetic film material having the saturation magnetic flux density larger than the saturation magnetic flux density of ferrite as a magnetic core. CONSTITUTION:The coefft. of thermal expansion of the ferrite is specified to 125-145X10<-7>/ deg.C. The main compsn. of the ferrite is confined within the range enclosed by AB, BC, CD, and DA connecting the respective points A(25, 16, 59), B(25, 11, 64), C(15, 14, 71), and D(15, 19, 66) expressed in molar % of at least (MnO, ZnO, and Fe2O3). The region shown by diagonal lines in the characteristic chart indicating the relations between the compsn. of the Mn-Zn ferrite and the coefft. of thermal expansion is an adequate region. Generation of exfoliation between the thin magnetic film and the ferrite, cracks, etc., is thereby prevented in the production process for the composite type magnetic head and, therefore, the stable production of the composite type magnetic head is permitted.
