PURPOSE:To improve the density of sintering and magnetic characteristics by adding halogenide FeCl2 to an R-B-Fe system sintered magnet. CONSTITUTION:An R-B-Fe system alloy powder wherein the essential components are R (R is at least one sort among the rare earth elements which contain Y.), B and Pe or the same component mixed powder is further mixed with 0.002-1.5 wt.% halogenide FeCl2 and is formed, sintered and heat-treated. If the halogenide FeCl2 is less than 0.002 %, the effect is little, on the other hand, if it is more than 1.5 wt.%, sometimes, anti-corrosion may be deteriorated. In this way, magnetic characteristics are improved by adding the halogenide FeCl2. |
