PURPOSE:To make a suitable copying magnification and copying paper automatically selectable, by setting the size which is twice as large as the size of an original detected by an automatic original feeding device to a reference size. CONSTITUTION:When originals are fed by means of an automatic original feeding device 30 provided with an original carrying means which carries odd- numbered originals to a 1st position on an original placing table 25 and even- numbered originals to a 2nd position on the table 25, the size of a first fed odd-numbered original is detected and the size which is twice as large as the original is fixed as a reference size and, when a copying magnification is inputted from the outside, the size of copying paper to be used is set from the inputted copying magnification and reference size. When a copying paper size is inputted from the outside, the copying magnification to be adopted is set from the copying paper size and reference size. Therefore, a copying magnification setting function or copying paper selecting function can be used as it is. |
