<p>The metal hinge pin has a cylindrical body with lengthwise notches at one or both ends. The notches (2,3) are in one or more pairs pressed into the body (1) and comprising two flat faces (3,3'; 4,4'). The first faces of a pair are formed by cutting material away from the body and are parallel to each other. The second faces are formed by deflection of the material portions so formed. There can be two pairs of diametrially opposite notches at one end of the pin.</p> |
