PURPOSE:To realize the stabilization of a bias magnetic field and the miniaturization of a device, by providing a third magnetic layer, and magnetizing it in a prescribed direction. CONSTITUTION:On a magneto-optical recording information carrier 1, a first layer 3, a second layer 4 and the third layer 10 magnetized in the prescribed direction of thickness of a magnetic layer are laminated, and the Curie temperature of the second layer 4 is set higher than that of the first layer 2 and less than that of the third layer 10, and the coercive force of the second layer 4 is set smaller than those of the first layer 2 and the third layer 10. Therefore, since the bias magnetic field is generated in the third layer neighbored to the second layer, it is possible to always obtain the stable function of the bias magnetic field even when the shaking of the information carrier 1 is generated, to simplify a biasing magnet, and to miniaturize the device.
