PURPOSE:To easily produce many glass products from a sheet-shaped plate glass stock by forming a photoresist film on the surface of the sheet-shaped plate glass stock, and applying specified patterning treatment to the film. CONSTITUTION:A photoresist film is formed on the surface of the sheet-shaped plate glass stock 1 having specified thickness, and patterns 3 which are rendered so that plural glass products 2 can be cut off respectively from the sheet-shaped plate glass stock 1 is then exposed and developed. The cutting patterns 3 are engraved on the sheet-shaped plate glass stock by dry and chemical etching to the rear of the sheet-shaped plate glass stock 1, and plural glass products 2 are cut off along the cutting patterns 3.
