PURPOSE:To interrupt thermal effect from a turbine against a rotator to the full, by fitting a highly rigid pipe member in the circumference of a shaft by a heat insulating layer, and setting up the rotator, consisting of a permanent magnet, on the circumference of this highly rigid pipe member. CONSTITUTION:In a shaft 1 of a turbocharger, an impeller 2 is fixed to the one end via a compressor shaft 11, while a turbine blade 4 is fixed to the other end via a turbine shaft 12. In this case, a highly rigid pipe member 5 consisting of cermet material or the like is fitted in the circumference of the shaft 1. And, a heat insulating layer 6 or an air layer is formed in space between the shaft 1 and the highly rigid pipe member 5. And, a rotator 3 consisting of a permanent magnet is set up on the highly rigid pipe member 5. According to this method, thermal effect from a turbine against this rotator 3 is fully interruptible in particular, whereby a function of the rotator 3 itself can be brought into full play satisfactorily.
