PURPOSE:To dispense with the recording of discount or the rewriting of the file of a store controller (SC), by transmitting production data having the data of discount saling added thereto to SC and rewriting the file of SC. CONSTITUTION:When a commodity number is called out, the unit cost and price set at a week unit by SC 1 are displayed and a commodity to be weighed is placed on a balance part to issue a label which is, in turn, added to a memory. With respect to a fixed amount commodity, a label is issued by pressing an asterisk key to be added to the memory. When the unit price is altered, a unit price temporary alteration flag is written as '1'. '0' shows that the unit price is not altered. When production data is collected by SC 1, ACK (affirmative response) is obtained on the side of a label printer 3 by the command from SC 1 to perform Poll (data request) and the production data is sent from a printer 3 and, when the flag is '1', the content of the file 2 of SC 1 is rewritten to the content set by the printer 3.
