摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of accompanied flow in a suction chamber by forming a guide wall in the direction crossing at right angles with a gear shaft and allowing the inside surface of the guide wall to coincide with the gear side surface, in the flow passage process between the suction port of a gear pump and the suction chamber. CONSTITUTION:A suction port 11 and a suction fluid 6 are set in eccentricity, and a guide wall 14 is formed in the course from the connection part to a suction chamber 7, and a height (e) is maintained for the surface of the suction port 11, and the inside surface 14a is allowed to coincide with the side surface of a gear 2. If fluid contacts the outside surface 14b of the guide wall 14, when the gears 2 and 3 revolve, and fluid flows from the suction port 11 into a suction flow passage 6, flow direction is changed to the flow along the direction of arrow 15. Then, the fluid which flows in the direction of arrow 16, guided by the inside surface 14a, is sucked from the direction crossing nearly at right angles with the tooth grooves of the gears 2 and 3. Therefore, generation of accompanied flow in this part is prevented, and the generation of accompanied flow in all the suction chamber 7 is prevented, and generation of cavitation is prevented.
