The circuit for protecting an interruption of the word processing work in an intermediate break by others comprises a CPU (10), a switching circuit (20) for input of the protection start, release, and password keys, a control circuit (40) for switching the CPU from an ordinary mode to a protection mode when receiving the protection start key signal, a protection executing circuit (30) for rejecting other input signal except the release and password key signals, and a displayer (50) for showing the mode executing now.
