PURPOSE:To separate a specified component in the form of liquid as it is from a liquid mixture with a separation membrane having high heat resistance, high solvent resistance, and high mechanical strength by using a separation membrane constituted of aromatic copolyamideimide contg. a specified recurring unit in a specified proportion. CONSTITUTION:Copolyamideimide is obtnd. by allowing 4,4'-methylenebis phenyl isocyanate dissolved in a polar solvent such as N-methyl pyrrolidone to react with a mixture consisting of trimellitic acid anhydride and isophthalic acid. A dope soln. is obtnd. by dissolving said copolyamideimide in dimethyl formamide, etc. and the soln. is extruded through a nozzle for the production of hollow yarn simultaneously with core liquid such as water into a coagulation bath contg. such as water. Thus, hollow yarn membrane having a structure wherein 90-70mol.% of the recurrent units is expressed by formula I and 10-30mol.% of the recurring units is expressed by formula II, is obtd. A specified component is separated in the form of liquid as it is from a mixture of several kinds of liquid by using this separation membrane.
