PURPOSE:To obtain good-quality purified water, to change the adsorbent at a proper time, and to allow a water purifying agent to function effectively over a long period by packing specified adsorbent and water purifying agent in the vessel of a specified structure in specified order. CONSTITUTION:An water inlet 2a is provided at one end of the cylindrical vessel 1, a water outlet 1a is furnished at the other end, and an observation port 1b is provided on the wall on the water inlet side. A water purifying porous ceramic body 4 is packed in the vessel 1 on the water inlet side, and he zeolite adsorbent 5 is packed in the vessel 1 on the water outlet side. Namely, good- quality purified water can be obtained by this water purifier, the adsorbent can be changed at a proper time, and hence the water purifying agent functions effectively over a long period.
