Piston (slide) valve comprising a body 1, a lantern 5 placed axially in a bore 4 of this body between two sealing rings, this lantern connecting a fluid inlet orifice 2, emerging on the lower end 21 of the lantern, to a fluid outlet orifice 3 passing, via at least one opening 12, through the lateral wall of this lantern 5, a piston 13 which can move axially in the lantern under the action of an operating member 131 so at to open or close the valve by connecting or interrupting the link between the fluid inlet and outlet orifices, the valve being characterised in that the piston 13 includes, at its lower end, a shutter interacting, in the closed position of the valve with a shutter seat provided at the lower end of the bore 4 of the valve body. <IMAGE>
