PURPOSE:To improve the data transmission speed without decreasing the arrival range of a transmission light by lighting plural light emitting elements in time division. CONSTITUTION:A transmission data 1 in n-bit and an output of a counter 5 generating a time division pulse corresponding to each bit synchronizing with a transmission clock 4 are given to a gate 2 as inputs. An output pulse of the gate 2 makes a switching transistor 7 conductive by a buffer 3, an infrared ray emitting diode 6 has a forward current and is lighted. Through the constitution above, since time division lighting of the infrared ray emitting diodes of the number corresponding to the bit number (n) of the sent data is attained, then even when the on-time of each light emitting diode is made identical to the on-time in the case of serial transmission, the on-duty is 1/n in the case of one diode. Thus, the data transmission speed is increased up to n-time in comparison with one diode. |
