PURPOSE:To perform the detection of the resin flux short part of a resin flux cored wire with good accuracy by measuring the difference in the cooling speeds of the wire at the cooling stage after heating the resin flux cored solder wire at the temp. less than the solder alloy melting temp. CONSTITUTION:A resin flux cored soldering wire 1 is passed through a boiling water 3 for heat insulation continuously and by the temp. measure part 4 at the time when the wire 1 is cooled to some extent by coming out of a heat insulation part outlet port the temp. is measured by using a thermistor or thermocouple 4, etc. Because of the resin flux short part being remarkable in its temp. drop it can be detected with good accuracy by detecting the temp. drop part.
