PURPOSE:To perform the drawing and bending of a laminar work with a single die by providing an auxiliary punch capable of changing its height and a blank holder on a lower main punch and by providing an auxiliary die energized by a spring on an upper main die. CONSTITUTION:The auxiliary punch 64 supported by holding members 54 (a-d) to advance or retreat by cylinders 50 (a-d) and devided into plural parts and a blank holder 82 freely capable of changing its height by attaching and detaching a cushion 78, are provided on the periphery of the main punch 36 of the lower die 32. Further, the cushion 100 and the energized auxiliary die 88 are fitted on the main die 88 of the upper die 34. The laminar work is drawn by this composite die apparatus 30. Then, the holding member 54 (a-d) are retreated, the auxiliary punch 64 is made possible to descend by the cushion 60 (a-f), the blank holder 82 is descended by removing the cushion 78 to press the drawing work, then the bending of the periphery is performed by a vertical face 40a of the main punch 36 and the periphery part 89a of the main die 88. The drawing and bending work are performed by the single die to reduce the cost of the die apparatus.
