<p>For circulating a suspension, especially biomass in a tank, at least one generally rod-shaped or tubular body is used which is moved in the longitudinal direction of the tank and extends transversely thereto and which is arranged in the lower half of the tank at a small distance from the bottom and, if desired, has projections on its outer surface. Circular, oval or triangular or polygonal cross-sectional shapes are suitable and, if desired, have projections, especially in the form of platelets or bristles. The generally tubular body, which generates turbulence, is borne by a float or by a slide or carriage which runs over the tank bottom and which is advantageously driven by means of a canned motor with a cable connection to the outside. The float is moved via a revolving cable pull or preferably by a motor mounted on the float and having a drive element, such as a ship's propeller, which is formed especially by an electric motor with a photovoltaic energy source running with it (Figure 18). <IMAGE></p> |
