PURPOSE:To prevent dust production at the time of magnetic head assembly, by providing a linearly fine-driving means which linearly and finely drives a spring force parallel-supporting means in directions, in which a load supporting spring section is retained and released by releasing the retaining force of the section, and another means which moves the means to the setting position of the load supporting spring section. CONSTITUTION:A finger section 5 is coupled with a nut 14 and provided with a finger holder 18 which can make fine movement in the direction Y along a guide shaft 16 through a linear motion bearing 17, another finger holder 19 which is coupled with a nut 15 and can make fine movement in the direction Y along the shaft 16 through the bearing 17, plural fingers 20 provided on the holder 18 at intervals, and another plural fingers 21 provided on the holder 19 at intervals. In the initial state of the soft loading assembly of a magnetic head, the finger section 5 is set to a waiting state at a resetting position which is apart from the setting positions of the load supporting spring sections 2 and 2 of the core slider sections 3 and 3 of the magnetic head 1 to be assembled between magnetic disks 4 and 4 by means of a finger mounting/removing swinging section 7.
