PURPOSE:To take a hard copy of an oscilloscope waveform through easy operation by converting the waveform voltage of an oscilloscope into a digital signal, generating a signal corresponding to the digital signal by a decoder and driving the head element of a photographic printing means. CONSTITUTION:An oscilloscope waveform voltage from a Y-axial input terminal 1 is A/D-converted 3 and the decoder 15 generates signals for selecting head elements h1-h256 corresponding to the digital signal. Then the decoder 15 outputs an H signal to only output terminals corresponding to the elements h1-h256 and also outputs an L signal from other output terminals, and a shift register 16 stores the H or L signals data and sends it to an OR circuit 17 successively. The circuit 17 inputs coordinate data and sends their composite data to a shift register 19; and only head elements corresponding to the H signal are driven by a driving circuit 21 to perform the photographic printing of a 1st line. Then a memory 5 outputs waveform data on a next line to the decoder 15 with a clock signals from a line driving signal generating device 12 to perform the photographic printing of a 2nd line, thus performing the photographic printing of all lines.
