PURPOSE:To shift an original image toward the front or rear end of a form optionally and take a copy of the image, by adjusting a detection position optionally in the moving direction of a platen or optical system. CONSTITUTION:When the magnet 10 of a support member 11 which is movable on a rail 9 of the platen or optical system 8 is at a position (b) in a figure, copying paper coincides with an image on a photosensitive drum and a normal copy is taken. When the magnet 10 is at a position (a), the platen or optical system 8 is driven, and the time when the magent 10 approaches a magnetic proximity switch 7 is short, so a timing roller is driven early. Consequently, the form is fed faster than the image on the drum to copy the image on the form at its rear part. When the magnet 10 is at a position (c), the image is copied at the front part of the form to the contrary. Thus, the magent 10 is only moved on the rail 9 to copy only a necessary part at an optional position on the form. |
