This oven has at least one radiation-heating wall or radiating wall 3, which is located inside a baking chamber 2, itself surrounded by an adiabatic wall 1, as well as a heat source 4 for heating the radiating wall 3. The latter comprises a large number of separate elements 3a, in particular of approximately spherical shape, which are carried by a perforated support 5 and are arranged so as together to form a continuous wall. The elements 3a are in particular natural stones (pebbles) of substantially spherical shape.
