Device for the hydromechanical transmission of rotational movement 1, comprising a framework 2, a positive displacement pump 3 in which the pump intake shaft 11 is mounted to rotate on the said framework and in which the body 12 is rotationally integral with an output shaft 13 concentric with the said intake shaft and mounted so as to rotate on the said framework, at least one duct for supplying fluid 25 to the intake chamber or chambers of the said positive displacement pump, at least one outlet duct for the fluid 31 located in the delivery chamber or chambers of the said positive displacement pump and means 32 for adjusting the flow rate of fluid in the said outlet duct. This positive displacement pump may be combined with a non-positive displacement turbine 4 supplied by the said outlet duct 31 and rotationally connected to the said output shaft 13. <IMAGE>
