PURPOSE:To simplify the structure by constituting a roof type reflection optical system for leading an optical path from a microfilm to a projection screen through a fixed reflection optical system, so that its scan can be executed by following up the movement of an electrophotographic photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:At the time of enlarging and projecting the image information recorded in a microfilm 12, onto a projection screen 23, a roof type optical system 17 is fixed to a projecting position shown by a full line, and an optical path from the film 12, which has passed through a copying projection lens 16 is led to the screen 23 from a projection use reflecting mirror 24 through the optical system 17 and brought to an image formation. When copying the image information, a driving motor is operated by conducting electrically an electromagnetic clutch, and the optical system 17 is brought to a scan movement to a scan end position shown by a two-point chain line. In such a case, from a scan start position shown by a one-point chain line, the image information starts to be brought to a slit exposure to an electrophotographic photosensitive drum 26, and when the optical system 17 has reached the scan end position, the electromagnetic clutch is energized and the optical system 17 is returned to the projecting position. In such a way, the structure can be simplified.
