<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the malfunctions with a touch panel by using a material which transmits no light in order to avoid such a case where a light emitting diode can be seen through from the bottom surface of a touch panel. CONSTITUTION:A touch panel contains a light emitting diode 4 and a light receiving transistor TR 5 set opposite to each other at both ends of a panel bottom surface 3. Then, a material 1 which transmits no light is attached to the front side of a protection cover 2 for the diode 4 and the TR 5 respectively. Thus, only the beams shown by solid lines in a figure are transmitted when the surface 3 is touched by a nail 9 of a finger 8 set vertically at the center part of the surface 3. In such a constitution, the touch panel device never has malfunctions.</p> |
