发明名称 CONSTRUCTION OF FURNACE WALL FOR VACUUM DEGASSING FURNACE
摘要 PURPOSE:To eliminate sticking metal to furnace wall, to prevent spalling of the furnace wall and to improve durability of the furnace by executing lining composing of ZrB2 quality refractory on inner face of lining refractory wall for a vacuum degassing furnace. CONSTITUTION:Molten steel 13 in a ladle 14 is circulated as showing by the arrow mark by Ar gas from an Ar supplying pipe 10 through an uptake tube and a downtake tube, to execute degassing refining in a vacuum chamber. In the vacuum degassing furnace 11 having the above constitution, on the inner face of the lining refractory wall 20 for the vacuum vessel, the layer for preventing sticking of metal composing of the ZrB2 quality refractory monolithic lining 19, which molten metal is hard to wet and metal is not stuck, is stuck. The above ZrB2 quality refractory layer 19 is to have 3-15mm thickness and 2.5-5.0g/cm<2> density and contain at least more than 10wt.% ZrB2 in dry base, desirably 50-90%, and contain alumina cement, super fine powdery oxide having <=1mu, clay, water glass, etc. Further, the above lining refractory wall 20 is to use the refractory of aluminamagnesite-chrome quality, etc., and difference between coefficients of thermal expansions of the refractory wall 20 and the above refractory layer 19 at 1,000 deg.C, is to be <=0.5%.
