Safety system for vehicle automatically neutralising the energy sources in the event of impact and manually in an emergency but which retains the possibility of actuating the electric locking of the doors. The invention relates to a system for cutting off the electrical energy and stopping the engine. By action on the automatic return lever 1 the conducting blade 3 connected to the storage battery pivots about its end 4 and clears the core of the electromagnet 6 up to locking. Contact is then established between the battery, the general circuit 7, the circuits of the engine 8 and of the electromagnet 6. In the event of impact, the impact detector 9 closes the circuit of the electromagnet 6 whose core frees the blade 3. Under the action of the spring 5 compressed on engagement, the blade pivots abouts its end 4 and breaks the contacts between 3, 7 and 8 causing the battery to be isolated and the engine to stop. In an emergency the crash button 10 actuates the circuit breaker. <IMAGE>
