<p>PURPOSE:To improve the operability of a screen display device by displaying the parameter explaining information needed for input of parameters on a small area of the same parameter input screen. CONSTITUTION:A display device contains a screen information storing means 1, a screen information display means 2, a parameter input control means 3, a keyboard 4 and a CRT 5. The means 1 stores a parameter input screen including plural parameter input fields and a parameter explaining area for display of the explaining information against a single parameter and the explaining information of each parameter for each screen. Then, the parameter input screen designated by the means 1 is read and displayed on the CRT 5 and the corresponding explaining information is read out of the means 1 every time the information is received from the means 3. These read-out explaining information are displayed on a displayed parameter explaining area. At the same time, the parameter supplied from the keyboard 4 is displayed in the parameter input field.</p> |
