PURPOSE:To contrive the promotion of combustion, by a method wherein the lower end of a conduit tube is opened toward the bottom in a combustion furnace and a second conduit, wound spirally in the combustion furnace, is arranged in the combustion furnace while the upper and lower ends of the second conduit are extended to the outside of the furnace and are raised up at the bottom of a water tank. CONSTITUTION:When the valve 9 of a second conduit 8 is opened slightly after coke 14 is burnt to some degree, water arrives at a cylindrical section 8a since the water tank 3 is positioned above the lower end of the cylindrical part 8a. In this case, the cylindrical part 8a is heated by the combustion of the coke 14 to evaporate the water in the cylindrical part 8a and send steam into the water tank 3 through the upper end 8b of the second conduit 8. Then, the steam is activated while dispersing catalyst 6 and is risen, thereafter, is caught by a shell 4 and is introduced into the conduit 2. The activated steam is thermally expanded while passing through a combustion furnace 1 and arrives at the lower end 2b of the conduit 2, then, is ejected toward a fire grate 12. Then, the steam is dispersed from the center of the fire grate 12 toward the periphery of the furnace and is dispersed into the coke 14 being burnt. In this case, the steam reacts with the coke 14 and water gas is produced while the water gas promotes the combustion of the coke 14. |
