PURPOSE:To prevent the formation of a nonuniform thick film by increasing the air pressure difference exerted on the bead of a coating soln. formed between a carrier surface and a slide surface to separate the slide surface of a coating soln. feeder from the carrier surface, and finishing coating. CONSTITUTION:The coating solns. 6a and 6b are allowed to flow down over the slide surface 9 of the coating soln. feeder 3, and the coating solns. 6a and 6b are coated on the surface of the continuously traveling carrier 1. In this case, the air pressure difference exerted on the bead 10 of the coating soln. formed between the surface of the carrier 1 and the slide surface 9 is increased to separate the slide surface 9 of the coating soln. feeder 3 from the surface of the carrier 1, and coating is finished or suspended. The formation of a nonuniform thick coated film when coating is finished or suspended can be prevented by this convenient and sure method. |
