The invention relates to a device for closing premises comprising at least two panels sliding in fixed frames located in parallel planes. This device is characterised in that : - each sliding panel 2 rests on rolling means 6 located inside the corresponding lower fixed frame 1; - the profiles of the fixed frames 1 and of the sliding frames 2 are perfectly identical on all four sides; - the joints 7 for the internal protection of the fixed frames and the joints 8 for sealing the "sliding frame - fixed frame" assembly are also identical on all four sides. The device according to the invention is used for closing residential or work premises with door and window frames of the metal type. <IMAGE>
