PURPOSE:To improve the preventive properties of color contamination and color fogging of the titled compd. during production and preservation by incorporating specified compds. capable of preventing the color contamination and the color fogging in a layer outside a photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer. CONSTITUTION:The titled material comprises at least one layer of each blue, green and red sensitive silver halide emulsion layers, and the compd. capable of preventing the color contamination and the color fogging properties shown by formula I are incorporated in the layer outside the three photosensitive silver halide emulsion layers of the titled material. In formula, RED(A) is a group capable of releasing a (Time)p-RED(B)-Ballast group in the oxidation- reduction reaction of said comd. with the oxidant of a developing main agent, RED-Ballast is a group capable of reducing the oxidant of the developing main agent by only releasing from the RED(A) group directly or through a (Time)p group, (Time)p is a timing group, (p) is 0 or a positive integer, and Ballast is a nondiffusion group. Thus, the titled material having less tendency for generating the color contamination and the color fogging is obtd. |
