PURPOSE:To obtain a parabolic reflection antenna with very light weight by forming a concaved face of a prescribed paraboloid of revolution to the front of a plate base made of a light weight foamed resin and providing a conductive reflection layer on the concaved face. CONSTITUTION:The base 11 is constituted by forming a foamed resin made of 50-times foamed polystylene as a plate, for example, and the concaved face 12 of the paraboloid of revolution is formed in the front. A conductive paint, for example, is applied onto the concaved face 12 to form a conductive reflection layer 13 of the parabolic antena. The base is made of a light foamed resin in this way and the conductive reflection layer is formed on the concaved face of the paraboloid of revolution of the base as a thin layer, the entire weight is much decreased.
